CDC Voucher Giveaway: Singapore Heritage Trails Offer Chance To Win $75

CDC Voucher Giveaway

If you’re running low on your stash of CDC vouchers, there’s great news! You can now start earning them again through the Community Development Councils (CDC)’s new initiative, Walking Trails @ CDC (Heritage edition). Here’s everything you need to know about it.

What is Walking Trails @ CDC?

Launched in collaboration with GovTech and CrowdTaskSG, Walking Trails @ CDC is an initiative designed to encourage Singaporeans to explore the nation’s vibrant heritage while staying active. The gamified experience, reminiscent of the Pokémon Go craze, allows participants to earn reward vouchers along the 5 newly launched heritage routes.

How It Works

To get started, head over to CrowdTaskSG to join your quest. Each trail has 5 checkpoints where you must complete certain tasks to earn CDC Trail Badges. Once you collect all 5 badges, you can exchange them for $5 of RedeemSG Rewards Vouchers. Additionally, if you collect all 6 adorable ollies along the way, you can earn another S$10! (Note: limited redemptions available).

With 5 walking trails to explore, you can potentially earn up to a total of S$75 in vouchers!

Heritage Trails

Here are the first 5 out of 20 new Heritage trails to be launched over the next 2 years. Grab your ollies and start exploring:

  • Kampong Glam (approx. 4 km)
Start: Peranakan Museum | End: Jalan Besar Stadium
  • Tampines (approx. 4.3 km)
Start: Tampines East MRT Station Exit | End: Tampines Central Park
  • Woodlands (approx. 4.4 km)
Start: Woodlands North MRT | End: Marsiling Lane Market and Food Centre

Start: Jurong Town Hall | End: Taman Jurong Market and Food Centre

What Can I Spend My CDC Vouchers On?

Most of you should be familiar with the CDC voucher scheme by now, but if you’re new, these Government-sanctioned vouchers can be spent at various neighbourhood and local stores. This includes hawker centres, hair salons, cafés, and even quirky hobby stores like Hobby Point and Just Ants.

To check for eligibility, look out for CDC stickers at participating storefronts. You can also visit the official website for an updated list of participating merchants.

Conclusion

So gather your friends and start hunting for those vouchers! Along the way, don’t forget to appreciate Singapore’s vibrant heritage and the stunning beauty of our green city.
